EVO Education
EVO Education. The Casa Julia farm has chosen to actively engage in the cultural dissemination of quality extra virgin olive oil, convinced that only through knowledge is it possible to recognize and enhance this extraordinary product. EVO is more than just a condiment: it is health, culture, identity, and gastronomic pleasure.
This is why we have created a series of multimedia projects aimed at a broad, varied, and international audience: music videos, comics, and in-depth articles. All are freely accessible.
Video and music
Extravirgin – Taste it for the very first time
An original 1950s-style project, filmed in English, designed to talk about EVO oil with pop, ironic, and engaging language.
The protagonist, John, discovers how EVO oil can change his life: from health to well-being, from taste to awareness.
The video is accompanied by different musical versions of the song, all created to tell the same story in different styles (rockabilly, reggae, swing), to reach different audiences and promote the message in an inclusive way.

Ebook
Everything you’ve always wanted to know about EVO oil and were afraid to ask
Before buying extra virgin olive oil, stop for a moment.
- Are you sure you really know what are you buying?
- Can you tell a EVO that is good from one that looks good?
- Do you know why an oil stings, is bitter, or changes over time?
- Can you (really) read the analyses that certify quality?
- Do you know why two oils that are both “extra virgin” can be completely different?
If the answer is not really, you're in the right place.

We wrote this guide:
Not because there was a lack of articles on oil.
But because there was a lack of clear explanations.
Extra virgin olive oil is one of the most common foods in our homes
and at the same time one of the least understood.
We've been taught how to use it.
We're rarely taught how to understand it.
This guide was created for this purpose.
It collects the questions that everyone asks themselves sooner or later when faced with a bottle of wine:
Why does it sting? Why is it bitter? Why does it cost more? How can it be best preserved? What do those tests that no one shows say?
This is not a guide for experts.
It's a guide for families, for cooks, for those who choose what to bring to the table every day.
It's free. It doesn't require registration. It doesn't require data.
You see it. You download it. You read it.
Because culture, when it comes to food,
should never ask permission.
